Philippines:
Pray that God
will meet the Bible needs of
our people, especially those
with visual impairment and
difficulties. Pray that the
audio recording of the Bible
in people’s heart languages
will be developed and made
available.
Micronesia:
Pray that
we will be able to provide
affordable Bibles on these
islands as transport costs,
as well as the economic
condition, are some of the
challenges faced by churches
and individuals. Pray that
God will help us to overcome
obstacles that prevent people
from owning a Bible.

India:
Please pray for the
launch of
Bible 2020
. Pray for
the programmes for children
and young people as well as
for more Bible production and
distribution initiatives.
Maldives:
Pray for Bible
work among this nation of
fewer than 400 000 people.
Pray that people of all walks
of life will be touched by the
message of God’s Word.
Sri Lanka:
Pray for the revi-
sion of the Tamil Old Version
Bible, originally published in
1871. The Tamil language
spoken here is slightly different
to the one spoken in India.
The revision will include digit
alisation of the text.
Bangladesh:
Please pray
for the development of the
Bible Society’s various
projects, particularly the
construction of its new
headquarters. Continue to
pray for the refugees in our
country. Pray for our staff
and for the leadership in our
country, especially with regard
to difficulties experienced as
a result of Covid-19.
NOVEMBER
1-7 Nov
Suriname:
Pray for the
translation of the Old
Testament in the minority
languages of Aukan and
Saramaccan. Pray that the
needs of the churches and
communities will be met. Pray
for the Bible needs of refugees
from Venezuela in this country
in particular.
El Salvador:
Pray for the
people, especially the high
number of orphans who
have lost their parents due to
violence in this country. As a
result, people have become
incredibly fearful. Pray for the
effort of our Bible Society to
develop material for the
Fear
Not initiative
, to help the
children to combat fear using
the Word of God.
Honduras:
Please pray
for wisdom so that we can
help to make the Word more
relevant to our children and
young people. Pray for the
safety of our team as they
face violence in our city.
Guatemala:
Please pray that
all children are reached by our
Bible mission. Pray that young
Guatemalans may see the
relevance of the Bible in their
lives. Pray that more people
may have access to the Bible
in their heart language.

Dominican Republic:
Praise God that we are able
to reach lives with his Holy
Word through several projects:
A Bible in Every Backpack

Bibles for Weapons

Will Hear God
, among others.
Pray for our country and our
team – that God can help us
to spread his Word to those
who need it.
East Caribbean:
Pray for
all the island nations in the
region. Like many other places
in the world, these are facing
severe challenges in the wake
of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pray that the message of the
Bible will have an impact.
Puerto Rico:
Pray for the
people of this country who
have experienced a number
of trials, some which have
had an adverse effect on the
