birthday gift
Every year, the Apostolic Faith Mission
(AFM) National Leaders Forum blesses the
Bible Society with a donation in aid of Bible
distribution. This year’s donation of R70 000
was in support of the Bible Society’s
2 Million
Bibles
project which is aimed at providing those in
need with two million Bibles and two million sets
of Bible-based literacy booklets. Here are (left, front

The Bible Society received a very special
birthday gift from its printing partner, the Nanjing
Amity Printing Company recently. The framed
certificate included a very special Bible. The
certificate inscription reads:
“This copy of
Die Bybel: 1933/1953-vertaling
is the 200 millionth Bible that came off the pro-
duction line at Nanjing Amity Printing Company
in November 2019.
“It is our great honor and pleasure to present
this significant copy to the Bible Society of South
Africa in recognition of their remarkable milestone
of 200 years of service.
“Amity Printing Company is especially grateful
for our great partnership over the years.”

Bible for cellphones.
