Turkey
Thank God for his protection during difficult times. Our bookshop in Adana has survived two attacks and is still doing God’s work. Praise him, too, for opportunities to participate in bookfairs, our main way of sharing God’s Word. Please pray for the safety of the small Christian community trying to survive and be a witness for the Word of God. Please pray also for our funding in this time of financial crisis.

Jordan
Pray that the new General Secretary and board, appointed last year, may be wise as they continue to build relationships with individuals and various churches and organisations in the country. Pray for the many book fairs in schools and churches and for summer camps. Remember, too, the work amongst Asian migrant workers: may their lives be changed as they hear and read the Word of God.

Syria
Thank the Lord for guidance in doing his work. Praise him for the Christian Resource Centre in Damascus and for the many visitors who have used its resources. Many children and young people have interacted with the Word through our programmes and activities. Our distribution efforts and participation in various bookfairs continue to bless those seeking his Word. Please pray for church leaders, that they will be guided by the Holy Spirit.
